City in the Forest, CITF, is a non-profit coalition of residents of metro-Atlanta neighborhoods building support for better tree protection through education, awareness and efforts to improve tree ordinances and building practices. Please join us in helping protect our unique urban forest. There is a better way forward that serves all interests and preserves our trees.

ATLANTA IS DIFFERENT
No other major U.S. city has the unique urban forest we have. Atlanta’s tree canopy is a symbol of our city as much as the Statue of Liberty is a symbol of New York. We truly live in a City In the Forest. Let’s keep it that way.

Learn why our unique history has allowed us the urban forest we enjoy today and how we can protect it!
